Yurt Agnello
Slapen tussen de olijfbomen onder de sterren die je vanuit je bed kunt zien door het open dak. Hoe romantisch is dat!
Een yurt is een traditionele nomadentent afkomstig uit Mongolie. Onze yurt is handgemaakt en opgebouwd met kastanje hout en heeft een natuurlijke isolatie van vilt. Dit houdt de warmte vast in de winter en de warmte buiten in de zomer. Er is een afsluitbare deur met glas en een raam met hor. Doordat het dak geopend kan worden ontstaat er een natuurlijke luchtcirculatie waardoor het er niet te warm wordt.
De yurt heeft een oppervlakte van 20 m². Je slaapt in een comfortabel echt bed en er zijn lekkere zitstoelen. Er is kastruimte en verschillende lichtpunten. Naast de yurt bevindt zich een overdekte veranda met een buitenkeukentje ( koelkast en inductie kookplaat). Alle kookbenodigdheden zijn er aanwezig. De yurt staat op een een olijfbomen/amandelbomen veld waar je heerlijk in de schaduw in een hangmat kan relaxen. Je hebt je eigen privé badkamer met douche, toilet en wastafel.

Thank you Pauline and Will for creating such a haven! Your place is beyond beautiful and the yurt is super magical! We are already missing the gorgeous pool!! We stayed with our 7 yr old daughter and she absolutely loved the place. Everything was absolutely perfect and just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Despite not having a car we were able to walk to the closest town and walk to the farmers shop and butchers in the country side! This is an absolute must do… it is spectacular and going on foot is stunning. Pauline is a wonderful host, she kindly drove out to find us when our taxi driver had difficulty finding the yurt and took us back. She also offered us lifts into town and the supermarket as we were without a car. The gardens are beautifully cared for and the atmosphere is inviting and humble. Pauline and Will really encourage you to feel at home and are very discreet yet happy to converse if you feel like it. Honestly it’s hard to put in to words how lovely our stay was. Thank you for letting us eat the fruit from your trees and being so thoughtful. We cannot wait to return one day! Thank you Pauline, Will, Ieke and beautiful doggy Bor 🙂

Prachtige plek op het platteland! Pauline is zeer gastvrij en attent. Milou, haar lieve hond, verwelkomde ons elke keer als we ’thuis’ kwamen en kwam in de schaduw bij ons liggen als wij aan het zwemmen waren of in onze buitenkeuken een spelletje zaten te doen. Ook kregen we soms bezoek van 2 buurpoezen. Wij verbleven in de yurt. Daarnaast zijn er nog 2 andere accommodaties. Er is veel rust en ruimte voor iedereen en met name rondom de yurt. Alles is goed verzorgd en mooi ingericht. Bij de yurt hoot een mooi eigen badkamertje met wc, wastafel en regendouche. Over het hele terrein zijn leuke plekjes ingericht om te relaxen op een bankje, in een fijne stoel of hangmat. Er staan o.a. mooie olijfbomen en cactussen, je ziet prachtige vlinders en hagedisjes en ruikt bij een windvlaag de geur van een oude naaldboom. Het (zout water) zwembad met buitendouche is heerlijk! Met de auto kun je er goed op uit (het is leuk rijden over de typische smalle weggetjes met stenen muurtjes erlangs); er zijn veel leuke stadjes in de omgeving die een bezoek waard zijn. En natuurlijk de zee (op een half uurtje rijden). Wij hebben verder ook de grotten van Castellana bezocht en zijn op Zoosafari geweest. Een waar paradijsje!

We stayed in the beautiful Mongolian Yurt for 9 nights and it was truly magnificent. We feel so lucky to have found Pauline and Will’s place in Puglia surrounded by olive trees and countryside. The amenities were fantastic and as soon as we arrived we felt completely relaxed after a long journey. We really enjoyed the outside kitchen and dining area where we could BBQ and relax. The pool area was fabulous and we mostly had it to ourselves. Their style and the way that they’ve designed and decorated is perfectly in-keeping, yet with a bohemian twist! (especially the Yurt) The location is great for exploring the many surrounding towns and beaches. Will and Pauline are lovely and make you feel right at home, couldn’t recommend enough!
